The University of Oxford is the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world’s second oldest surviving university. While its exact founding date is unknown, there is evidence that teaching took place as far back as 1096.

Located in and around Oxford’s medieval city centre, the university comprises numerous colleges and halls and caters for around 22,000 students, 40 per cent of whom are international, representing 140 countries between them. Our expert team supports over 35 independent colleges and related establishments by delivering procurement services and systems across their food and hospitality businesses.

Preserving traditions whilst delivering savings
Each college is steeped in history and has its own traditions and personality.  Head Chefs operate autonomously to nourish some of the leading brains in the world, whilst our team of experts work behind the scenes to preserve the proud traditions of each college whilst delivering money saving solutions.

Delivering quality solutions
Working with the colleges, we’ve reorganised suppliers to better reflect the expansive needs of the colleges, realising savings along the way.  Ensuring a competitive mix of local, regional and national suppliers, we pride ourselves on understanding a client’s business so well that we offer the right quality product for their customers and budget.

Making it easy
Our market leading eProcurement system provides a full procurement to payment (P2P) solution with colleges able to place orders online. Suppliers can then upload invoices which the system matches against the relevant order before passing to the accounts team for payment.  This saves time by reducing manual processing, improves accuracy and gives greater visibility of what’s being ordered. It’s easy for our clients to achieve their goals – our technology and our people guarantee it.
